I am... IT Professional...

I am... IT Professional...

Say it fortunate or unfortunate... but reality is that...

I am... IT Professional...

I am the one who cannot tolerate the bugs in the application that I am maintaining... Well, dont ask me whether I develop my applications bug-free...

I am the one who enjoy while pointing out the bugs in application developed by my fellow developers...

And I am the same IT Professional who speaks "Professionalism" bulshit when my fellow developers report bugs in my application...

I am... IT Professional...

I am the one who gives credit to myself for the whole application when I sit for one-to-one discussion with my Manager...

And I am the same IT Professional who always try to keep myself away when any defect is being reported in the application... saying I haven't worked on this...

I am... IT Professional...

Whenever there is a defect in coding... I am the one who always say that this should have been considered while designing... even though I am also one of the team members who designed...

I am the one who always hate the Testers... even for the blunders that I've made...

I am... IT Professional...

I am the one who always claim that I am the one who is technically competent... But, when its time to show case my technical comptency... ha... forget it...

For me, my previous employer is always better than the current employer...

Very rare that I make friends out of c0lleagues... If in same team... just forget it... Its almost impossible...

I am... IT Professional...

I am the one when someone ask me for help... whether I can help him/her or not... I never miss the opportunity to take credit out of that...

Whenever something bad happen to me... it is just because of my bad luck... But, when the same happen to others, its because of their fault.

I am... IT Professional...

Well... there is much more...

that I want to confess today...

But, feeling sleepy... So, folks... I am... IT Professional... logging out for now...

Catch you later... take care...

Best Relationship

While returning from office after finishing the daily routine of work, Ajay Narang asked us "What is the best relationship in anybody's life?".

Parents? Bothers? Sisters? Relatives? Friends? or any other relationship?

Without any thought, I said "Friend".

Yeah... that's true, at least for me... No... almost for everyone I think.

When I said that he immediately agreed with me. Because it's true.

Is there any need of explanation for what I said?

Only a friend knows our actual character. What we are, what we like, what we love, what we hate... everything about us, more than we know. Am I wrong? No way...

When I say Friendship is the best relationship in this world, it doesn't mean that all other relationships are 'BAKWAAS' (in my words)... No... It's not like that..

I love my parents, my sisters... I don't have any brother, otherwise I would love him too... The thing is that we love them so much that we don't want them to be hurt because of some of our habits.

When I am with my friends, I don't care about anything, like, what am I doing and all... But, when I am with my parents, I care about a lots of things because they care about them and I don't want my parents to be hurt.

And by this, I don't mean that I don't care about my friends. I do care them.

Well... there is no end to this topic... but I should end this post as I am getting late for my movie program (with my friends of course...). So catch you later in my next post. Till then bye.

Hey... before I logout, one question for you guys... what is your answer for the question that Ajay asked???

Save Our Tigers

Save Our Tigers - An Initiative by Aircel.

It is very nice to see that corporates are taking some initiatives. Now don't argue that they are doing it just because of their own profit. May be you are correct but who cares when something good for society is coming out of that.

It's very heartening to see that our national animal is in need of our help for its existence. According to some estimates our Tigers will lose their existence by 2015. If we don't act now then our future generations will put the Tiger besides Dinosaur. And, no wonder if they make Jurassic Park kind of movies on Tigers.

Please act before that. Go and visit www.saveourtigers.com.

If you want to donate, go to http://www.wwfindia.org/help/donate/

I did my contribution. Its your turn now. Be a responsible Indian citizen.

Starting of new era...

Thank you my dear friends... It is very encouraging for me to get such nice comments on my very first post. Just because of your support, I dared to write this post.

But I want you people know that my english is not that great. And for that matter, nothing about me is great. You will figure it out yourself anyway. I already received lots of comments on my english and grammatical mistakes I made in my previous post and about to repeat them in my all upcoming posts. But, you know..., I want to share my story to you guys, and I thought english should not be a constraint for doing that. What you say? Am I right or what?

Anyhow, Let's start with my story again....

A.P Express entered on to the platform number 9.30 AM in New Delhi railway station. We along with Santosh's father came out of the station. After we got checked-in to the hotel, we headed for CMC Limited, Jeevan Vihar, Parliament Street. Our joining process was done and we were told to move Janakpuri where we were supposed to continue with our new JOB.

We (Kishore, Chaitanya, J Suresh, Santosh, Santosh's Dad and Me) headed for JP(In CMC, there is short name for everything, JP is for Janakpuri). We boarded our first ever DTC bus (Route No. RL77).

In Hyderabad local buses, the conductor will come to you and give you the ticket. But, in Delhi, getting the ticket is your responsibility which we didn't knew at that time. We have taken the seats. Once the reached Delhi Cantt, Ticket checking team entered into the bus and asking to show the tickets.

We thought that he was the conductor and asked to give ticket for Janakpuri. He just calmly asked all of us to get down from the bus which we did as we were completely new to this place. That was very unenviable situation for us to get caught like that. People started making fun of us.

We paid the chalaan amount of Rs. 50/- (By our language slang, he was convinced that we were genuine. Otherwise the normal chalaan amount is 100/-) and then left that place. We were in Janakpuri to meet the PM for our project allocation.

... "How many lines of code you have ever written in c language?" Mr. Pravesh Sharma asked us.
"12" said Chaitanya promptly. I wondered how he could say that. Even one linked list program will be of minimum 200 lines. By the time he asked this question I was about to say '1500 lines'. But...

"15 lines" said Kishore.

And I said, "150 lines".

We got our projects allocated. And surprisingly, Chaitanya got project in C, Java project for Kishore and me, .Net. I wam not going into the details so much. That might be boring for you guys.

But I want to mention one particular person here, Hari Shankar Tiwari. I met this guy while our intro session. I must say, he is the person whom you ever notice having a smile on his face always, touchwood. He never ever yelled on me atleast once in our 5 years of friendship. Infact, I was very rude on him during the worst phase of my life. But, he provided me hell lot of support at all times more than anyone, I must say.

We were then in need of shelter for our stay in Delhi. We formed into three groups, Kishore + J Suresh, Santosh + his dad, and Chaitanya + me. It was already 3 PM and rats were running all over our stomach. But other two groups were completely dedicated for the task ahead of us.

But, I was the partner of the laziest guy Chaitanya. How can we search for a room? When others are there to do that? We straightly went into the restaurant to have some food. We were supposed to meet at a common place by 5 PM.

... We got the room in C3 Block, whose landlord is the most wonderful person in the world. We call him "Dadaji". If there is a perfect person in the world, then he must be "Dadaji"..... And I was fortunate enough to meet him. Thanks a lot GOD.

My Initial days after College...

I just passed out from my college, the very unknown ‘Aizza College of Engineering and Technology’. By the time of my counseling, even I was not aware that there is a college with this name on this earth. I opted for Computer Science & Engineering stream just because one of my dad’s friend (can’t remember his name) told me to do so. I stepped out of my college with the same mindset as I had when I stepped in.

After hearing the college name in which I pursued my B.Tech degree, you might have easily figured out that campus recruitments cannot be available for such colleges. So, I entered Hyderabad for my job hunt. Am I? I don’t know.

I visited CMC-ATC again (Previously I was here during final semester project work) and came to know that EDGE program is going on currently which assures you to find out a job. After 3 months of .Net training along with some Database training, I got call from “Intelligroup”. In written test I did pretty well. Next comes the Group Discussion in which I’ve never ever participated. Just because I always feel like I will not have enough points to speak up. Is it true? But, every time I think of Group Discussion, my mind get filled with hell lot of fear. Quite naturally I didn’t speak out a single word. And I lost the opportunity of working “Intelligroup", Hyderabad.

Then I got call from CMC Limited. I need a job very badly now just because the ones who are not done written so well are now holding jobs in their hands. I visited Chilukur Balaji temple (All Hyderabadis must know by the name of "VISA temple") in outskirts of Hyderabad. I promise you wont be disappointed once you go there and make a wish. Dont think that I am promoting this temple. After all, GOD is not (hopefully will never be) in such a bad condition that he need me to promote him about his powers.

CMC relocated us(Yes, we were 5 in total, Kishore, Santosh, J. Suresh, Chaitanya and Me) to Delhi. Of course, we people got selected by CMC Limited, Hyderabad. After a woderful party (We party without any special reason, this time we have one, how can I miss that?)with my friends in Hyderabad, I headed for Delhi by A.P Express along with my other 4 new friends.

...I entered the National Capital from State Capital. I never thought that the Delhi railway station would be like the way it looked.

This is the first blog in my life. You might not figure out what am I saying in this blog. Dont try to do that, you are not going to find out any.
